About Japanese Tests

To apply for authorization of resident eligibility, unless you are High-school-educated Chinese, Mongolian, Myanmarese, Bangladeshi, Vietnamese, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, you might have disadvantages unless you have not passed any one of the tests below. J.TEST,NAT-TEST,TOP-J-TEST or GNK-TEST, Besides, you may not be able to find a part time job if your Japanese level is under JLPT N5 when you come to Japan. So please study hard with the goal of N5 before application, and aim N4 before you come to Japan.

Application & Admission

Resident status holder

Entrance is possible at anytime. However If you are completely beginner, the entrance is only from April, July and October.

Long term (over 6 months)

You have to apply student visa. It is necessary to apply certificate of eligibility before you apply visa. Furthermore, please note that the deadline is unexpectedly early.

Short term (Within 3 months)

"Short term" means the case that you study on temporary visitor visa (Period of stay: within 90 days).

Those who have other visa

Entrance procedure is comparatively easy for those who intend to get visa other than student and tourist(temporary visitor).
